Types of cookies
Browser storage is not limited to cookies. Job83 also uses localStorage and sessionStorage for authentication, user preferences, guest-tool limits and notification settings. Clearing essential storage may sign you out or remove locally saved preferences.
Essential service storage: account session, guest-tool identifiers and settings for features you request. Persistent browser storage remains until removed by the feature, sign-out where applicable, or your browser controls.
Privacy choice: job83_web_privacy_v2 stores the analytics and advertising choices for this browser, which expire after 180 days.
Optional analytics: job83_analytics_id identifies a browser to Job83 audience measurement. If configured and allowed, Google Analytics may also use _ga and related cookies; their duration is controlled by the analytics configuration and your browser.
Advertising technologies: Google advertising code is blocked until advertising permission is saved. When allowed, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and personalisation.
Third-party advertising cookies
Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies on users browsers, or use web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies when ads are served on Job83. Job83 ad serving is disabled while a candidate has active R50 access; essential, security, and permitted analytics storage may still be used.
Managing cookies
Users can manage cookies through browser settings, device settings, Google Ads Settings, and any consent tools shown on Job83. Blocking some cookies may affect login, saved jobs, alerts, billing, or document tools.

Optional website analytics and advertising storage are denied by default, including when a saved choice is invalid or expired. Google Consent Mode is updated when a choice is saved. Permission is not required to browse jobs or use essential features. Withdrawing it below reloads the page to stop already loaded optional services. This does not delete previously collected server records or every provider cookie: use browser site-data controls and contact support for data requests. For visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, Job83 must also use a Google-certified TCF consent management platform where Google requires one.
