Job83

Editorial policy

How Job83 researches, reviews, and corrects public guidance.

Job83 publishes practical South African job-application guidance and adds structured assistance to public vacancy information. This policy explains how that work is sourced and reviewed.

Last reviewed:

Ownership and accountability

The Job83 operator, Mulaudzi H in Midrand, Gauteng, is responsible for the site. Send correction requests with the affected page URL and supporting source to [email protected]. We do not claim that every imported vacancy has received independent human verification.

Imported vacancies, original guidance and AI

Vacancy facts belong to the named source or employer. Formatting, automated extraction and AI rewriting alone are not original reporting. Our publication standard is to add useful source context, explain application requirements and provide practical preparation help without changing the advertised facts. AI-assisted text may contain errors and must be checked against its source; source gaps must not be filled with invented details.

Copyright and source complaints

A public advert is not automatically free of copyright. If you own content reproduced on Job83, email [email protected] with the Job83 URL, your original work, the basis of your concern and a way to contact you. We will review the request and may correct attribution, restrict or remove the material. Do not include unrelated personal documents.

Primary-source standard

For government vacancies and Z83 guidance, Job83 prioritises the complete department advert, DPSA circular, official form, government portal, and named department instructions. A social-media summary is not treated as the final authority.

Original value

Job83 does more than reproduce vacancy text. We separate application fields, explain terminology, identify closing and submission requirements, add safety checks, and connect candidates to preparation tools. Guides must help a reader complete a real task and should not be created only to target a search phrase.

Reference-number controls

A circular post number is stored separately from an advertised reference. Extraction does not invent a reference when source text is absent or damaged. Ambiguous references are flagged for review, and candidates are told to verify the value against the official advert before generating a Z83.

Review and corrections

Guides show an editorial owner and review date. Material errors are corrected when identified, and unsafe or expired vacancy records may be limited or removed. Readers can report a factual or source problem to [email protected].

Independence and limitations

Job83 is not DPSA, a government department, or the recruiting employer. No guide, match score, tool, advertisement, or payment guarantees eligibility, delivery, shortlisting, an interview, or employment.

Advertising separation

Advertising must be visibly labelled and kept separate from editorial conclusions, job application controls, and download actions. Advertisers do not receive authority to change Job83 editorial guidance or verification outcomes.
